    • CHARLES WILLINGALE (THE YOUNGER) was indicted for stealing, on the 28th of November 1827, 3 pairs of boots, value 10s., and 7 pairs of shoes, value 20s., the goods of Charles Willingale, the elder. Found guilty. Aged 25. Strongly recommended to Mercy by the Jury, hoping his father would find him some employment. Judgment Respited.

      CHARLES WILLINGALE was indicted for stealing, on the 15th of June 1830, 4 sovereigns, 1 crown, 2 half-crowns, and 15s., the monies of William Hawton. Found guilty. Aged 29. - Transported for Seven Years.

      Charles Willingale sailed from London aboard the 'John (1)' on 14 October 1830, arriving in Tasmania on 29 Jan 1831.

      Tuesday, 14th April 1840 from The Hobart Town Courier and Van Diemen?s Land Gazette
      Peter Hand, Jane Edwards, Martin Hudson, Henry Brough, William Nottmon, Charles Willingale, and John Leadbeater, were each fined 5s., for drunkenness.

      Before the Stipendiary Magistrate, Captain Bateman, and Alderman Robertson.
      DRUNKENNESS -William Pentland fined 10s. or 48 hours solitary, and Charles Willingale 5s. or 24 hours for drunkenness.

      FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, 1868 Before A, B. Jones, Esq., S.M.
      VAGRANCY Charles Willingale, an old man, pleaded guilty to a charge of being idle and disorderly, and being found sleeping in a yard on the previous night. He had been similarly convicted on several occasions. The Magistrate ordered him to be imprisoned for three months.

      DISTURBING THE PEACE. - Charles Willingale, Hannah Webber, and Emma Surman were each fined 5s., with the alternative of seven days' imprisonment, for disturbing the peace.
