 | 1902, Pittsburgh, Wright Family, Grandma Wright, Mom - left, Uncle Did on lap, Aunt Eva right front, Uncle Bob right back Joyce says 'Uncle Did is Harold - I assume you have heard that his nick-name was "Did", supposedly because his father would ask who did something and it was always he who "did" it. The writing is in my dad's hand, so "mom - left" would be his mother, Isabella Mary Wright. Isabella, also written on many photos as Isabel or Isabell, was called "Dolly" by everyone. Her father called her Darlin', which ended up evolving into Dolly.' |
