  Received March 2012- I am the Grandson of Fred Burles and Mary Epps Burles son of Gertrude May Burles the twin of Gwendolyn Winifred Burles Nation. The twins were born on April 27, 1918 Gertrude died April 13 1944 giving birth to me. She was married to Forest Watters (American soldier) in September 1943. Her twin, Gwendolyn passed away August 2006. She was 88 years old. She had three children (raised me till I was 11 and came to America) Maureen born January 29 1941 Leslie James February 1 1947 Wendy (Nation not Burles) May 26 1948 all of them still living. Wendy Burles Ball Evans is my cousin and I am very close to her so is Michael Frederick Burles and Patricia Burles. Our Grandmother died in 1939 in Great Wakering. I was very fond of my Granddad Fred he was a terrific man patient and dedicated to his family. I hope this may be some help to you I am trying to help Wendy and Michael with the family tree.
