1902, Pittsburgh, Wright Family, Grandma Wright, Mom - left, Uncle Did on lap, Aunt Eva right front, Uncle Bob right back Joyce says 'Uncle Did is Harold - I assume you have heard that his nick-name was "Did", supposedly because his father would ask who did something and it was always he who "did" it. The writing is in my dad's hand, so "mom - left" would be his mother, Isabella Mary Wright. Isabella, also written on many photos as Isabel or Isabell, was called "Dolly" by everyone. Her father called her Darlin', which ended up evolving into Dolly.'
Grace Evelyn Wright Joyce says: According to a story I recall my mother telling me, Grace Evelyn, whom I called Aunt Eva, did not know if her given name was Grace Evelyn or Evelyn Grace until sometime in the 1960's or 1970's when my mother obtained Grace's birth certificate. My mother had gone to England to visit her family in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and at Aunt Eva's request went to the records office and got a copy of Aunt Eva's birth certificate for her.
Wrights on the Farm Left to right: John Elmer Brose, Grace Douglas (Grace Evelyn Wright's daughter), Elmer Douglas (called "Buddy") is the smallest boy, Robert Wright and Alice Sarah Jacobs Wright in the center back, next to Alice is Grace Evelyn Wright then next to her is Isabella Mary Wright. The two smaller girls in flowered dresses are Alice and Olive Allmendinger - the Allmendingers were friends of the family and at one point Grace Douglas worked for the Allmendinger family as a maid
Welcome Home Joyce says: The welcome home photo is of my dad at the far left (Edward Robert Brose), Robert Wright next to him then Jim Patterson and Grace Evelyn Wright Douglas Patterson - this was the party they threw for my dad when he got home at the end of WWII in 1946.

Notes
- Known from Steve Bush's family tree. He writes:-
My Aunt Eva (Grace Evaline/Evelyn) was born in Wood Green December 17, 1899. She married James Elmer Douglas, who was gassed to death in an industrial accident at Jones & Laughlin Steel. They had three children, Grace (b. March 18, 1922), Elmer, and William. Grace married Edward Burk and had three children Elaine, Nancy & Janet. They live in Ohio and Pittsburgh. After the death of her husband, Eva married James Patterson, a emigre Scotsman, who also worked for J&L Steel. She died April 7, 1992 at her house in Beaver, PA.
