Mary Ann Blackwell was christened on 10 January 1802 at Chelmsford, the daughter of Thomas Blackwell & Sarah.
When Mary's first husband James Griggs died, her children adopted the surname of her second husband Jacob Wright.
Mary died aged 55 of diseased lungs on 30 November 1857 at Woodham Ferrers. Her death was registered by Jane Gallafant who was in attendance. She was buried in Woodham Ferrers on 6 December 1857. | Blackwell, Mary (I0506)
