She passed away in late March of this year, and I'm now in a better state of mind to let people who have met her know about it. I'd imagine when we visited we probably had mentioned that she had been fighting various cancer episodes from about 2001. Unfortunately in mid 2012 she was diagnosed with further secondary breast cancers in her liver and elsewhere. However she was having a less invasive fight against it by using a wonder drug called Herceptin until we found in May of 2013 that the cancer had spread to her brain. From this time on her health had been progressively deteriorating. She has now lost her thirteen year battle against cancer and her soul is now at peace. In typical Lynne fashion she had a hand in organising her own funeral prior to her death. As far as funerals can be, it was a beautiful, warm and heartfelt celebration of her life. And now unfortunately I am resigned to live a single life, albeit with my trusty mini-fox terrier firmly planted on my lap. He misses Lynne terribly as well. Regards Steve Willingale
