Notes |
- Marjory WILLINGALE was buried in plot number 49-L028-E1/2N1/3, Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Canada on September 16 1913.
City of Saskatoon Archivist - he has access to some of the records for the Woodlawn Cemetery. He was able to tell me that Marjory Willingale was an infant child of less than one year old. The informant of the death was F. Willingale of Saskatoon. Searching the Henderson Directory for Saskatoon, he discoverd a Frederick Willingale resided in Saskatoon from 1912 to 1914. He was a carpenter by trade. There is no mention of a wife or other children - but children, unless they were over 18 years of age and male, or employed outside the home, were not mentioned. Women didn't count - they were mentioned only if they were employed outside of the home or ran a boarding house, etc. This was typical of the Henderson's Directories in the early years.
