- Dorothy Olive Wright remembers in August 1998 that her Grandfather Edwin James had a sister called Ann who had two daughters that were competitive swimmers. She lived in Barking at one time and taught elocution.
1881 census for Market Hill, Maldon St Peter shows:
Annie Wright aged 16 born in Maldon, living with Isabella & Thomas Hayes
The following was learned in January 2003 from an email from Keith Nisbet. Annie had two daughters, Isabel Mary and Irene. Annie was married twice, firstly to a Charles Nathaniel White and then to a chap named Downes.

Her address at the time was 230 Ashburton Avenue, Ilford and she was the widow of John Downes, a piano traveller. Her death was registered by her daughter I. M. Edwards of 35 Vincent Court, Hendon.
