    • Known from marriage certificate of son George Savill.
      John was a labourer from Childerditch, Essex.

      Record of his birth found in the Aveley parish registers held in Southend library. He was born 20 January 1809 and christened 17 February 1811. His parents were William and Elizabeth Savill.

      He lived at Great Warley at the time of his marriage.

      John died 3 May 1885 at Shakespeare Road, Romford, and was buried in Cranham churchyard on 9 May 1885 aged 75.

      The death was registered by his daughter Harriet Hunwicks who was present at the death.
